As a user, I would like my language settings that I have set in the profile page to have effect on the site and be remembered for my continued use of the site.

Please describe this issue. Add one or more user stories in the form of:

As a [user role; e.g. end user]
I need ... [feature description]
so that ... [reason this would be helpful]

We can discuss implementation details, such as how to integrate with our l10n solution.

When I open up the crowducate webpage, the language is automatically set to german. I am guessing that a browser setting is overriding the locale settings of the messageformat package.

We might need to think about a way how to cope with this situation. It's not a bad thing for the browser to select the local language automatically.
