APK not installing

Hi guys

I have downloaded airgap-vault-49677.apk, but am unable to install it on my old Samsung S4. I have allowed 'Unknown Sources', but when I try to install, Android gives a Parse error (There was a problem while parsing the package).

Any ideas what I can do to resolve this? Is it built for a later version of Android by default? Can I build it for an earlier matching version?

So the S4 is running on 4.2.2. Really old I know. I am going to play with CyanogenMod ROMs and see if I can get 5.0 or 6.0 running.

I see the APK does install on and old tablet with Android 6.0

Are you asking me for a PR? Or saying that there is already one?

I would love to 'fix' this. I don't believe this is a bug so actually nothing to fix. I am merely trying to find out if someone can point me in the direction of what I can do to change the Android version to match 4.2.2 and indeed whether or not that is even possible.

@andrew-m-higgs I have Android 7.1.1 (still CyanogenMod 14.1) on my Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE Duos.

If I am not mistaken that is the better version S4. The GT-I9505. I have the GT-I9500. The one they sold in the rest of the world.

I think I had 13.1 installed on my original S4 so that should work if I recall correctly from looking through the code.

These APKs (AirGap Vault) are freezing when launching the APP on the Moto G6 Play:

• airgap-vault-55947.apk (v3.31.0)
• airgap-vault-54507.apk (v3.30.0)
• airgap-vault-53670.apk (v3.29.0)
• airgap-vault-52781.apk (v3.28.0)

This was the latest APK version (AirGap Vault) that worked on the Moto G6 Play:

• airgap-vault-51797.apk (v3.26.0) [started in approximately 20 seconds]

(* In each test, a 5-minute waiting interval was used while the app tried to start!)
