What do you mean place holder issue? like instead of just feeding spotipy.search(type="track, artist ,album") maybe give a option to specify the type?

That it is a placeholder issue until I add more information.

Option to specify the type might be a good approach, however, then it kind of limit the free text search. But this might be done with good ux.
