• Does the bug not happen when you log out of YouTube? Then please copy your experiment flags list with & without the error, so we can compare: Enter: ´yt.config_.EXPERIMENT_FLAGS´ into the Browser console on youtube (F12-Key). (can also copy them from the html source(ctrl+U))

please add the corresponding browser console error, when you click the button.

generally this works and luckily player features don't requiring updates much like the features for Youtube's pages / layout.

• so it might only happens sometimes happens at a points where non of our features runs?
  • is that after some inactivity, using other tabs? - We are forced to migrate to Manifest3, which means we might need to add some periodic "keep alive" loop / message.
