I have with Cmd-W (often close tab) often the same issue as with Cmd-Q. Would it be much work to add a preference to slow another keystroke?

In browsers, CMD + Shift + T will reopen the closed tab, if that's any help.

@simonpacis i did know that - but it's useful in this context.

My main issue is with terminals. Say when I ssh or run a longer build it happens too often I accidentally kill important stuff. I have set up stuff like confirm close - but then for closing it's annoying. The approach of SlowQuitApps seems like a good fit.

Currently out of scope and would require an overhaul of application internals to support arbitrary key presses.

I would suggest to implement this feature also with a toggle to turn it for the different targets (quit/close/minimize) on and off.
