It would be nice to have support for custom renderer, like this :-

<Dropdown
    renderItem={(value) => <span>icon - {value}<span>}
    options={options}
    onChange={this._onSelect}
    value={defaultOption}
    placeholder="Select an option"
/>;

Use cases:

custom item icons
prefixing dropdown items
