Steps to reproduce:

  1. Start from a new clean local repository.
  2. Create and checkout a branch called "feature/my_featureA" (git checkout -b feature/my_featureA)
  3. Create a few commits (git commit)

Expected result: The branch name label for "feature/my_featureA" should follow the HEAD ref as you add new commits.

Actual result: The branch name label for "feature/my_featureA" stays at the same original commit and does not move with HEAD as you add more commits.
