Git Guides page has very outdated information #1029

This page and section states that GitHub Desktop also installs git:
https://github.com/git-guides/install-git#install-git-using-github-desktop

From what I can tell, this hasn't been the case for over 4.5 years or more:

hi, @mmseng I am interested in working on the issue to update the documentation to reflect that GitHub Desktop no longer installs Git.
