Eg:
http://www.google.cn/maps/vt?lyrs=m@189&gl=cn&x=12&y=6&z=4

I'm sure this used to work... Has google changed the URL format?

I think the URL structure may have changed?

This seems to work:
https://mt1.google.cn/vt?lyrs=m@189&gl=cn&x=12&y=6&z=4

it seems that Google China Map has been blocked.
