Here's the abstract:

Building modern web applications can be either really simple, or really complicated. By relying on Node’s core principles of simplicity, loose-coupling, and small services -- we can make software that is fun to write, fun to use, and easy to maintain.

In this presentation, Randall Degges, Stormpath Developer Evangelist will share all of the best practices he’s learned while building production level Node applications. In this talk you’ll be inspired to write better, simpler, and more maintainable software using Node.

He will cover:

  • How and why software gets complicated.
  • How to simplify your software with services.
  • “The Node way of doing things.”
  • Rules for building simple web apps.
