I tried using the install driver file but it can't find anything and just recognizes whatever I put in as a command as opposed to the file path it was asking for.
I am completely lost!

More detailed explanation:
when I try to connect to Steamvr in AprilTagTrackers.exe it says my ATT version does not match.
I then tried to use the install_driver.bat in driver_files and this is what happens:
The system cannot find the file C:\Users\Cassie.
The system cannot find the file C:\Users\Cassie.
The network path was not found.
vrpathreg.exe not found: ""=\bin\win64\vrpathreg.exe"

This usualy means an error with your SteamVR installation, or if you have multiple installations of SteamVR.
You can also try to locate the vrpathreg.exe file yourself and input it below. The file is inside SteamVR\bin\win64.

Enter full path to vrpathreg.exe:

When I put in anything command prompt just recognizes it as a command entirely unrelated to what it asked me.
I have tried my best, but have no clue what is going on.

Sorry for the issue, the driver installer seems to not work properly if you have certain characters in your pc name.

To continue the installation, you have to manualy find the vrpathreg.exe and input it into the program, then press enter. It will be something like C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\bin\win64\vrpathreg.exe , that should then continue the installation properly. It may also ask for the steamvr config file, which is in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\config\steamvr.vrsettings.

If this still doesnt work, then there seems to be another issue somewhere in the installer. Can you screenshot the output in that case?

Otherwise, you can also install the driver manualy by copying the apriltagtrackers folder (in driver_files) into SteamVR\drivers. Its not a perfect solution, but should work.

I think that worked, although my ATT version is still not correct, so I'm not sure what happened there
