What do we need before we go 1.0.0?

1. Auto-compaction and compaction options (See Auto-compaction and compaction options. #1)
2. Benchmark comparisons

I think that might be it, which is pretty awesome. Anything else?

@kesla Any chance you can lead the benchmark effort? I know you've already done some work via medeadown.

I'm super-excited about taking this to version 1. I've been using Medea in a project, and it appears to be getting very stable. My team even taught a few classes (about 70 people in total) using this project, and not a single person had a problem related to Medea. It just worked. It was beautiful.
