When my kindle is in RTC sleep it cannot be charged. It is charging only when is wakeup.

So please implement feature that kindle is not going to RTC sleep when it is charging and allow sleep only in memory (like in DEBUG)

power status - if it is charging can be determine by this command:

lipc-get-prop com.lab126.powerd status

Hi thanks for your report. I haven't noticed this myself on my Kindle4NT, but I'll look into it soon. Are you sure it's not charging when in sleep?

Hi. Yes I am sure. But only tested od kindle DXG. If it is in sleep even charging led light is turned off. And it is not charging at all. I didn't try on K4 yet.

I can't tell if it's charging or not, but at least the charging-light stays on on a Kindle 4.

@RealDekkia ok, thanks for report.... maybe K4 is different than my DXG (dx is garging light off when kindle is in rtc sleep, and not charging) So maybe i will fix it for myself only...

This could still be useful on Kindle 4 as an easy way to debug issues. Currently I have to hold the power button until it restarts if I want to be able to SSH into the Kindle. If it stayed active during charging, I could simply plug it in and SSH into the device.
