Having endpoint error handling disabled is currently broken, at least from Python:

[1680794256.970950] [dgx13:28771:0]      endpoint.cpp:138  UCXX ERROR Error while closing endpoint: Invalid parameter

Additionally, I think there's no C++ test covering that at the moment, some tests need to be added.
