A toolkit for building cross-platform text editors

remirror was started as a personal challenge. Would it be possible to build a multi-framework editor that combined great performance with ease of use? After months of iteration, the answer is a clear "yes," but I need your help to make it a reality.

The editor is structured around small blocks of functionality, called Extensions, which are designed to fulfil a single specific purpose. Every single part of remirror is controlled by extensions, including the core Schema. This means that the editor you choose to build is both plug-and-play while remaining completely customizable and extensible.

Building something as large and ambitious as remirror takes a lot of time and focus.
