persistent running of the app

I've been using mqtt-explorer for years and love it.
This week I came across a docker version which could be useful for me.

what I would like it to leave mqtt-exporer running for say 2 days, then go back in and look at the messages.
BUT when I shut the brower down, the instance stops monitoriing the messages.

Is it possible to have a persistant instance running then I pop into the browser to view things whenever I feel like it?
