While building the new website, we talked about having a "topics" section next to the tutorial for self-contained articles on various topics. The list below outlines various topics it would be nice to have an article about.

• Basic concepts (async/await syntax, spawning, don't block the thread)
• When should you use async/await? (and when should you not?)
• All the features in Tokio [topic] cargo dependencies: features = ... #401

• Channels
• Concurrency (spawn, join!, select!, FuturesUnordered) (old discussion: No simple example for concurrent connections  #322)
• Futures as objects

There is some overlap with the tutorial, so some of them can probably be removed. I have not reviewed the list after the tutorial was finished. A quick skim reveals that we may want to remove some of the suggestions as well. Comment below if you have suggestions on things that we don't need as a topic page.

If you wish to discuss a particular topic article more closely. Please open a new issue for that topic article specifically. Then either edit this post to add a link to the new issue, or if you don't have permission to do that, mention me with @Darksonn in the new issue and ask me to do it.
