Main screen is not working from join meeting

HI, i am using desktop app in windows 10 , when i opened google meet, it always open with 2 link button , one is for join and 2 is for create new meeting, but when i try to join with existing meeting code and click on join , it always create with new meeting, it sould has to resolve , this is the paid version and facing such issue on the main screen itself,
