The current Figure 5-11 titled "Hardened derivation of a child key; omits the parent public key" is quoted as
For a hardened child, its private key can only be derived from the parent private key, while its public key can only be derived from its private key.
However, the arrow directly drawn from Parent Private Key to Child Private Key bypassing HMAC-SHA512 is inappropriate. I suggest a slightly fixed version below.
