problem on canon eos very slow or stop after several takes if objective present

hello
i'm trying to use gphoto2 to realize automatic sequence on dslr canon eos for a total eclipse of the sun
i just need to bracket from 4 sec to 1/2000 as fast a possible and as many times as possible
it works well as i use the dslr on a small telescope but if keep an objective it becomes very slow or hang after some takes

has anybody experienced this kind of behavior ?
is there a specific parameter to change?

i join sh script and xml sequence in zip file
to run : sh 2024sequence.sh "Canon EOS 760D"

Can you try to get a logfile and attach it?

here are some log file
i've made 7 tests
first 2 ones with objective on -> hangs
then 2 without objective -> does't hang
then 3 with objective again (the 1rst one had no problem and that's not common...) hang 2 times
every time it hangs, it seems it's during 60 sec
it doesn't hang without objective on DSLR (mode is manual M of course ...)
i use macbook pro intel and canon EOS 760D
