I am confronting the same situation. I've been using Github Copilot for half a year. Now it suddenly throws the error:
[info] [auth] Invalid copilot token: missing token: 403
[error] [auth] Extension activation failed: "Contact Support. You are currently logged in as chitoan77."

I tried to re-auth, sign out and re-sign in, but nothing worked. Both 2 laptops got the same error.
I struggled with this issue for a few days.

Suppose someone struggles with this issue. You perhaps consider this answer:

It appears that your access to Copilot was restricted by our abuse detection mechanisms.
Using Copilot on unofficial extensions or modifying these causes a strain on the servers and violates the Terms of Service.
Your access will not be reinstated.
