Lesson 8: brownie test seems to get stuck on test_api_consumer.py

Running "brownie test", after pulling the chainlink mix from github, creates a testing session that never seems to finish. The terminal gets stuck here:

Please we are going to need more information on this, share the test script and also the command you are using to run the test.

Test script is the same script when you run "brownie bake chainlink-mix" from within your demos/mixes folder:

And the command is "brownie test". Once brownie test command is executed my terminal stalls with the output I detailed in the orginal post.

Just a question if you clone the code repo, do you get the same result.

Yea even if I clone it gets stuck in the same spot.

I guess I could use VS code and see if that solves the problem. Even if it does, I'd be curious though why this is the first time I've had a problem testing. Like what part of these tests isn't working correctly w/ my current IDE.

I suppose the problem should be on the python installation, could you create a new venv and install just brownie on it? try running the test again, does it works?

No even if I create a new venv and install just brownie it gets stuck on that same test. I guess the problem is just my IDE then?

Could be, as I always use vscode and I tried to reproduce the error without success, could you try with vscode and tell us if the problem persists?

btw: should be a problem as the code will anyways run trough a terminal, but let's try it.
