Atlantis Sinks!

You can use the navigation bar on the right to find the page you're looking for.

Here is the objective of the game.

You are a Survivor and your goal is to survive long enough to uncover the mystery of who sunk Atlantis.

Mechanics

Win Condition

To win this game your goal is to uncover who sunk Atlantis, you will fail if you do not uncover the traitor in time!

  • Could have a day/night cycle with day being for collecting resources/clues and night seeing enemies spawn like sharks
  • Npc character names can be drawn from studio participants names and randomly assigned
  • If floating in the water is the setting, could have ruins poking up from beneath the water that the player can enter to change the playspace to solid ground and provide a more diverse setting
  • evicted members who were not the traitor might return as enemy npcs
  • Time limit will change as a difficulty modifier
  • Clues could be randomly created to help point out the traitor
  • Survival is dependant on .....
  • Exile NPCs to call out traitor,

The right choice confirms victory The wrong choice then maybe game gets harder as you have less people, the bad guy maybe gains new ways to mess with the player too

  • Two endings

Victory Failure

  • Interact with items (Will be used to gather clues)

Plan to sink atlantis as an item? Might have indicator on it pointing towards the traitor

  • Brightness of the screen to determine time left, gets darker later into the game
  • Music

Style

  • Changes made to the UI to denote game status

More dirty/broken UI as time progresses Game becomes darker as time progresses

Storyline

You and a group of survivors have braved the sinking of Atlantis and now find yourself with nothing but each other, but all is not what it seems. With your faith in one another fading away faster than your hope of returning Atlantis to this side of the horizon, your only hope is to discover who within your group set about this calamity and sank Atlantis.

With the knowledge of how this tragedy came about, perhaps you could find a way to refloat Atlantis, but beware of the traitor in your midst who will seek to undermine you at every turn.

A recommended starting place is Getting Started.
