Steps to follow

1. Pull down - (to get the latest)
2. Decide if you are going to work on master - or if you want to create a new branch to work on
3. Whether your create a new branch or not — make sure the thing you want to work on is at the “head” (the current branch)
4. Make your changes
5. Commit
6. Pull to check for any other updates (in our case)
7. Solve any merge conflicts
8. Then push up to the cloud (github)
