implement any and all metadata filters for weaviate vector store #13365
Conversation
We also just merged support for weaviate v4, so there are some merge conflicts (I would also double check that the filter syntax is still the same as v3) |
IN = "in" # In array (string or number)
NIN = "nin" # Not in array (string or number)
ANY = "any" # Contains any (array of strings)
ALL = "all" # Contains all (array of strings) |

@brenkehoe @logan-markewich Personally, I think the names "any" and "all" are too generic. Maybe "contains_any" and "contains_all" are more specific and easier to understand.
For example, Milvus also supports "array_contains", "array_contains_any" and "array_contains_all".
Hi, I was looking for "any" and "all" filters and I believe this is the the commit to include that. which version of current using below version which does not include above: Thanks |
@jaiminee should be latest, |
@logan-markewich i didn't bump the version in the PR for the weaviate vector store FYI |
Description
Add 'Any' and 'All' options to the Metadata Filter Operators. Implement the new operators for the weaviate vector store using 'ContainsAny' and 'ContainsAll'. Allows filtering using source array and target array in meta data.
